Gordy's Wedding

Congratulations to the new Ryan Family!!!
One of Matt's best friends from high school got married on Aug. 14th. He married a beautiful girl named Emily. We couldn't be more happy for them. We will miss them though since right after getting married they moved to Davis CA.
Just waiting for the newly married couple to come out of the Temple.
They had a fun reception and the JSB.

We do not love apartment shopping

So this is a really lame blog post but people always say I don't post enough. I tell them that I have nothing exciting to post about. So this is for those of you who what to know what is going on in our lives even if it is really not interesting. So we are trying to move closer to Salt Lake because we both work in downtown and Matt will be going to the University of Utah. We have looked at so many places and my eyes are so sick of looking for rent signs on the side of the road. We have just not found the perfect place yet. So the search is still on. If anyone knows of any awesome place to live let me know! I will let you know when the search is finally over but for now it still lives on. :(

Bodell Family Reunion

A few weeks ago we got to go to the ranch in southern Utah that my family used to own. I had so much fun while I was there. I can honestly say if was one of the best reunions we have had! I have so much fun catching up with everyone and getting to spend time with my family. It is also really great to have my husband with me at reunions now. He is so nice about our crazy big family. He know I love reunions so he us such a good sport about them. As you can see we had lots of fun playing games and eating.

And it would not be a Bodell family reunion without a good old country dance!
One of my favorite parts was swimming in the pond.
Thanks to everyone's hard work that was put into making this such a great reunion. It was so fun to see everyone. Can't wait till next year :)

Thanks Laura and Mitzi for teaching my how to make these cute pages at the reunion.
Thanks to the Hicks, Barth, Davis family for all the planning.
Thanks to Aunt Pam to lent us her car for the weekend so we could get there.
Thanks to Bill for helping Matt get all our stuff out of your tent when that crazy storm came.
Thanks to Grandpa for making it all possible.
Thanks to Grandma for raising such a great family.
Thanks mom for bringing me to your house to live :)
Thanks brandy for removing my nose hair. haha
Thanks to everyone else for just being so great! We love you all!

3 days of festivities!

On Saturday I started off my holiday weekend with going to see Eclipse with my cousin Rachel. I was a fan! I really liked this movie better then the first 2.

Then Saturday evening we went to Thanksgiving Point to watch the fireworks. I was quite impressed with the firework show they had even though it was crazy windy that night.

Sunday we went to my Aunt Pam's house for dinner and we had fun taking pictures and playing with sparklers.

Then this morning I went and watched Matt run the Freedom Run 10K in Provo. He did so good. He do 3rd place in his age division and 14th overall. But I am not surprised he is a great runner!

1 Year!

So from the pictures below it is going to seem like Matt went on this vacation by himself but I really was there. I realized after looking through these pictures that I am turning into one of those people that always behind the camera. At least for this trip I was.
For our 1 year anniverary we went to Las Vegas and stayed at the JW Marriott. It was super nice!! Here are a few pictures of Matt in the our fancy room.
Our first day there we spent some time at the pool and eating and then that evening we went to the strip.

It was so nice to relax by the pool! especially because it was snowing in Utah.
This was the second day. We spent lots of time at the pool:)

Then we went back to the strip.

That night we went to the Tournament of Kings at the Excaliber.

And before heading back for the night we went to Fremont Street to see the light show.

We had a very nice and relaxing weekend. Thanks babe for a great year. I love you!
