Orderville Visit

   We had been planning a trip to Orderville for a while because it was one of the only weekend that we had open all summer to go visit my family there.  The week before we were supposed to go my mom, Brandy, Camden and Sydney went to New York.  My mom had been wanting to take her kids there for a while now.  Matt and I were not able to go because of work and school.  While they were in New York my mom got very sick because of her gull stones.  She spent most of her trip in the hospital there.   Se there trip got extended for a few days because the doctors would not let her leave to come home.  The day we left to go to Orderville most of my family was still in New York.  So we didn't get to spend as much time as we had hoped with my mom and Brandy.  We arrived in Orderville Friday night.  We got to spend the whole day with Noah and I think Dale was a bit grateful for the break since he had been taking care of Noah since my mom had been gone.  It was fun to spend time with him and it was great to watch him and Matt play together.  My mom and Brandy did get back Saturday night so we got to see them before we left on Sunday evening.  It is alway fun to take quick trips back to my home town.  I was glad that we did.

   My mom did end up getting surgery last week and although she was in lots of pain she now seems to be getting back to normal.  We are very grateful for that!

Sorry its late, but happy 4th!

   

   We had a great 4th of July.  We went to Freedom days in Provo.  Followed by lunch at Aunt Pam's.   Her new addition to her house makes it such a great place to gather and have a great time.  Later that night we went to Thanksgiving Point to enjoy the festivities and fireworks.  It was really fun I highly recommend it they have a great fireworks show and it is just less hectic then the Stadium of fire.  They had live music there and it was just a great fun atmosphere.  So Happy 4th everyone!  

Matt first Bodell Reunion

   In the middle of June we went to the annual Bodell Reunion.  It was in Moab this year.  It is always fun to spend time with all my family no matter were it is, but Moab was fun.  We got to hike and camp and swim just spend time with family.  This was Matt's first reunion and I would say he did very well and had a good time.   He especially enjoyed playing with all the kids.  

    We went on a hike in Moab with Brandy, Noah, Camden, Sydney, and Johnny.  I don't have pictures of Johnny, Camden and Syd cuz they decided to run ahead of all of us at the beginning and ended up taking the wrong trail so we were only with them at the very end and very beginning of the hike. 

   We had a great time and can't wait till next year!

Stihl Timber Sprots

   I am about a month late but on June 6th we got tickets from my work to attend the Stihl Timbersports at Thanksgiving point.  It is on of those like mountain man competitions that you see on tv were they cut logs and run across logs and climb logs.  As you can tell a lot of logs involved.  They also had some pretty cool dog jumping and dog racing competitions.  Matt and Tyler also had lots of fun on the mechanical bull.   It was something different then thing that we usually do but we had a great time!
